Experience and Training Guidelines:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Five years of extensive experience in the areas of software application design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level N-tier architecture in a Microsoft .NET framework including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
Equivalent to Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer related field.
Keep up-to-date on business application development and implementation, database architectures, technologies, and methodologies, and attend training classes as necessary.
Conduct meetings with customers and transform requirements into effective applications.
Monitor quality assurance and security procedures for business applications.
Ensure application design and development policies are adhered to.
Independently perform complex application development/programming analysis.
Provide detailed design and specification documentation for all applications and databases.
Develop, maintain, and enforce database standards and procedures.
Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of application architecture.
Install, research, test, and verify proper functioning of software updates.
Create and enforce security standards.
Attend and participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations.
Must demonstrate attendance sufficient to complete the duties of the position as required.
Perform related duties similar to the above in scope and impact as required.
