Free Job description Bureaux Assistant Accountant

 

•To prepare balance sheet reconciliations for burueax specific accounts.

 

•To assist in budgeting and forecasting.

 

•Assist accountant with performing analysis and commentary on variances.

 

•To prepare other regular and ad hoc financial reports, returns and forecasts as directed.

 

Business Relationships and Partnerships

 

•Maintain effective communications with other members of the IBF team and the wider finance community.

 

•Continuously assess the service being provided and explore ways of it.

 

•Ensure that core finance processes are being undertaken as efficiently and effectively as possible.

 

•To liaise with international office staff on financial matters.

 

 

 

Other:

 

•To facilitate self development by identifying and meeting own skill development needs and future career opportunities with the support of line management.

 

•To facilitate collaboration between team members through sharing information, collaborating on decision making, and taking mutual responsibility for the work of the team.

Accounting and Reporting

 

•To process the monthly financial returns from international bureaux.

 

•Prepare fund requests for international bureaux .

 

•Perform foreign bank reconciliations.

 

•Process and monitor the foreign advances report, ensuring claims are not left longer than 30 days before they are cleared.

 

•Assist the IBF Manager and  Bureaux Accountants in maintaining financial controls in overseas offices

 

•To provide managers and staff with assistance and advice concerning queries/problems relating to all bureaux financial and administrative procedures
