Business Development Account Manager
Management of a delegated portfolio of accounts, with additional ad hoc queries from other accounts as required.
To develop and strengthen relationships with contacts at all levels in the organisation of existing customers with a view to protecting and growing existing business. These customers will come from the healthcare, financial, legal and pharmaceutical sectors.
Planning a schedule of Service Level Agreement review meetings throughout the year.
Attention to detail as well as good follow through on all requests / actions is essential.
Experience with the full range of MS Office products.
Excellent presentation skills.
Full clean driving licence.
A track record in objective setting, relationship building, good admin skills combined with an ability to ‘think outside the box’ would be an advantage.
He/she should have a track record of working in a dynamic environment and be able to show that they have a record of working to the highest standards.
A customer care attitude is paramount for the right candidate and all prospects must be able to prove this.
Previous account management experience, ideally in the Records Management sector.
3rd - Level qualification, ideally in business.
To work on introducing new services (including shredding / scanning) and systems (WareNet2) to grow existing customer accounts.
Retention and growth of existing accounts.
To resolve complex queries of existing customers professionally and speedily.
To develop relationships with internal departments such as finance, customer service and operations.
To complete and present regular reports and strategic account plans.
To update our Salesforce database after every interaction with a client
The ideal candidate should have previous Account Management experience, ideally with the Records Management industry. The right person will have excellent interpersonal, organisational, teamwork and self-motivational skills.
