Client Solutions Executive Job Description

Making a critical contribution to pre-sales activities as well as packaging advertising offers and presenting these both internally and externally, the Client Solutions Executive:


Works upstream with the stakeholders to conceive and develop thematic advertising packages based around editorial content.


Liaises with the editorial and publishing divisions, identifying planned events or content areas which are likely to enable monetization of the site, and creates innovative ways of delivering inventory.


Works with key internal partners within editorial, product and sales


Develops upstream cross media packages, aimed at maximising both impact and revenue and which are ‘eye catching’ to the media buying community.

Liaises with the product team representing the requirements of the sales team attending routine meetings and reporting back to the sale team and other parts of the business as appropriate.


Provides support to part of the sales team in an informal ‘Account Manager’ capacity on the appropriate weight of digital advertising packages, and provides a resource to sales on both the style and content of presentations.


Provides a central resource for quality and consistent materials, clearly communicating product value and strengths.


Project manages tasks in conjunction with other Client Solutions team members and working with sales, ad operations, editorial, research, product teams, and outside agencies and clients as necessary.

• The candidate must have impeccable digital credentials and great understanding of digital advertising. They need to be both creative and resourceful in view of content, together with sensitivity towards theBrand. They must be a clear and concise communicator.


• The candidate must be able to think on his/her feet structuring ideas simply and persuasively, and giving relevant responses by identifying the issues swiftly. It is essential that the candidate is able to simplify complex information and deal with tough questions and hostile situations.


• Experienced in media research, marketing or digital media planning.


• Strong familiarity with the digital landscape, new products, operating systems and technologies.


• Ability to create strong written and verbal arguments in response to briefs.


• Ability to collate information from wide ranging sources simplify it and communicate it clearly and with confidence both internally and externally.


• Experienced in packaging cross media solutions in a creative and arresting way


• Ability to create strong written and verbal arguments in response to briefs.


• Held an executive position in an international agency or media company.


• Good understanding of profitable digital production.


• Obvious creative flair, with evidence of having created value within the media process.


• Excellent Photoshop, Excel and Powerpoint Skills. HTML a plus.


• Ability to communicate with wide range of business stakeholders, provide complete clarity internally.
