•Strategic and tactical planning alongside Product and Sales to develop initiatives supporting the delivering of key business objectives

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

•Deep business and technical understanding of commercial publishing eco-system, including contract management system, 1st party advert delivery, planning and forecasting systems, 3rd party advert delivery systems, ad networks, ad exchange, DMP, DSP, SSP and related technical architecture, data flow and operational process
•Proven accomplishment in planning and integrating systems into the publishers’ overall application architecture e.g. CMS, rights management system, asset ingestion and management platform, working with other technical teams and colleagues to ensure commercial systems architecture is in line with business technology requirements
•Significant experience in development for Desktop, Mobile Web, Mobile Apps, Social Networks, VoD
•Demonstrated ability to navigate large and complex organizations with multiple business lines, working with Sales, Product and Development team to deliver operational efficient and cost effective commercial solutions, leading from concept to final product delivery
•Specialist knowledge in platform convergence including cross platform asset delivery and cross platform commercial planning and delivery

•To ensure the provision of excellent service to technology partners/3rd parties and other IT teams in the area of commercial system and development expertise
•To provide support to Operations to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operational systems and maximum commercial “up-time”
•To ensure 24/7 operational processes are robust to ensure ongoing delivery of commercial ad related revenue
•Monitors overall capability of the commercial operations and related distribution components
Responsible for the design and strategy of advertising solutions and processes across products including innovation, revenue generation, revenue protection, maintenance & proactive problem-solving across commercial executions.
•Deep understanding of the online advertising industry, trends, standards(e.g. VAST, VPAID, MRAID), best practises, technologies and pricing models; marketing and sales concepts; sales order processing; forecasting and reporting
•Guru in Ad sales and delivery systems (DSM, DFP, GPT, SDK mediation), reporting and forecast analytics (SiteCatalyst, Big Data analytics), Service Monitoring(Keynote), Programmatic Sales (AdX, PMP) , 3rd party systems (AdSense, DMP, SSP, DSP) and search (Google, Autonomy)
•Significant experience in web application development life cycle, application building and delivery processes and systems.
•Ability to code review and troubleshoot applications built in web development languages and native languages (Objective-C or JAVA for Android)
•Successful product integration and rollout experience with Twitter or Facebook
•Solid understanding of end-to-end video delivery from ingest, distribution to display, and integration solutions with commercial system across 4 screens platforms. Experience in broadcast ad systems would be a bonus
•Experience in Vendor management and SLA monitoring experience
•Strong data process and analysis skills, ability to use Big Data analysis to identify root cause to business and technical issues
