Processing requests from external organisations/individuals as instructed using established processes


Answering of phones when necessary and dealing with enquiries or take messages and pass to the appropriate person to respond


Opening of Directorate mail (as directed) when necessary, some maybe of a confidential nature


Co-ordinate the meeting room bookings


To work collaboratively with the Corporate Affairs administration team to help deliver an efficient and effective service


Help facilitate meetings under supervision


To demonstrate through your work your understanding and knowledge of software packages which include basic office software, website design packages and software development kits.


To contribute to the on-going digital development


To gain an understanding of the work of the teams and of the company as a whole, and actively contribute your ideas for the improvement of service provision


To ensure own actions contribute to the maintenance of a quality service provision


To be responsible for the self-development of skills and competencies through participation in training and development activities and to maintain up to date technical and professional knowledge relevant to the post

To assist in digital development working closely with the communications, engagement and marketing department to provide an efficient and effective administration support service to the team.

Provide a comprehensive confidential admin support service to the Executive PA team



Creating and maintaining webpages on both internal and external websites using content management systems and troubleshooting problems


Assist in the set up, development and on-going improvement of information leaflet database


To coordinate the Freedom of Information process, act as administrator for the online filing of these and the upload the final disclosure logs in accordance with guidance and compliance.
