••First class Adobe Creative Suite skills especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash plus at least basic HTML and CSS skills

Free Job description Digital Designer
Creating mock-ups of your solutions to support sales efforts
•Produce - or overseeing the production of - your digital solutions, outsourcing to freelance developers or suppliers when required and managing and overseeing them to ensure high quality delivery within the agreed technical specifications, timelines and budgets
•Work collaboratively with all relevant personnel and contributors to ensure your designs meet the site’s format, brand and technical specifications
•Apply user experience (UX) skills to develop wireframes, where relevant for customer microsites
•Work collaboratively with specialists in TV, events, digital and operations – including those in other regionals - to ensure your workflow meets the creative, scheduling and operational needs of the broader projects you are working within
•Focus at all times on using strong digital design and UX to deliver results for clients
Design digital products to go live or the websites of clients - most frequently creative advertising and content-led marketing assets
-Develop these products personally or oversee the development of these assets
Create design mock-ups to support advertising sales efforts
-Work with clients and colleagues collaboratively and respectfully, acknowledging that in most cases your designs will be part of a larger, cross-platform initiative and a broader client strategy; they will have a specific function and will need to go live within pre-determined deadlines and be developed within set budgets
-Focus on your designs as revenue drivers; in all cases their purpose will be to encourage sales – either the sale of an advertising campaign or the sale of a client’s products or services
-Work within the brand guidelines of clients at all times, and within technical specifications
-Take a ‘zero-error’ approach, testing all campaigns bespoke digital products prior to go-live dates
You will be collaborative because you will always be working as part of a team – incorporating ideas from colleagues and elevating these with powerful visuals.
You will be commercially-motivated and externally focused - constantly challenging yourself and your team to evolve designs, products and practises to improve quality and effectiveness in order to grow revenues and attract or retain clients.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working to client briefs – acknowledging that doing so sometimes requires a compromise between your design ideals and their desires. At the same time you will be pragmatic, appreciating that quantity is important, alongside quality.
As such you will develop work processes that enable a high frequency turnaround of designs and deliverables, prioritising your time in a manner that supports the team’s revenue objectives.
