Main responsibilities-Global Ad Sales Business Analyst


•Manage monthly forecast process – evaluating, preparing and consolidating revenues across the full range of Global Ad Sales products.


• Manage Finance and Investment case process and authorisation


• Manage, and update monthly integrated global sales metrics – providing strategic information assisting in sales growth


• Identify new analytical tools and market sources to help the sales team and our stakeholder customers



• On going project work


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Global Ad Sales Business Analyst


• Strong academics - either degree educated or equivalent qualification and/or relevant job experience, a further qualification such as MBA or Masters


• PQ Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) qualification required.


• financial experience (particularly business reporting)


• Experience of working within Advertising Sales is preferred


• Significant experience in a media environment.  Specific experience or in-depth knowledge across TV, Digital or new media would be advantageous.


• Negotiating skills and experience in building relationships on business and cross divisional basis – at all levels particularly at a senior level


• Excellent IT skills including advanced excel (macro writing), modelling and power-point


• Due to multi office locations and a complex network of key contacts for information, excellent organisational skills are essential with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines


• The ability to use own initiative and work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail with minimal supervision

Free job description Global Ad Sales Business Analyst

The focus is on the extraction and analysis of internal and external data, preparation of commercial documents outlining rationale and justification for Global Ad Sales.


Main responsibilities-Global Ad Sales Business Analyst

• Conduct monthly competitor analysis across a range of advertising platforms (TV, online and video) to identify trends and implications at country, regional and global level.


• Prepare presentations for business reviews and strategic sessions utilising both internal data sources and external market data.  


• Analyse data to develop Sales Policy management processes for business planning and further providing monthly support directly to Sales Management.


Works closely with the frontline Sales and Sales Operations teams and interacts with Sales, Distribution, Finance and other commercial departments.  The ability to extract information from both senior management and peers to formulate efficient business plans and process is vital.  The role will also require relationships to be built globally with the senior team.
