Job Summary

To support and advise Line Management in the full range of Human Resources issues.

Main responsibilities-Human Resources Generalist Job Description

Interpret HR and company policies and ensure adherence to them;

 

provide labor relations/consultation support;

 

consult with outside legal counsel as required;

 

respond to employee relations matters consistent with company policy guidelines;

 

oversee Mid-Year and Year-End Performance Management Program;

 

assist in providing training and development programs related to HR programs;

 

support and participate in national HR initiatives;

 

advise managers on employee relations issues in union and non-union settings;

conduct exit interviews; coordinate and execute full lifecycle of recruitment activities;

 

assist in the development, implementation, and compliance regarding the company`s EEO/AAP;

 

assist with various Human Resources projects as assigned.

Qualifications Human Resources Generalist Job Description

 

Experience:

4-6 years progressive HR experience including strong employee relations;

Bachelor`s degree required in human resources or related field; PHR certification preferred.

 

Skills:

Must possess strong communication (oral and written) and customer service skills;

must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization;

ability to work in a confidential environment essential;

excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum direction;

strong time management skills.
