Will involve advising on specific internal communications issues, drafting content for various channels and presentations and leading on face-to-face events.   To proactively identify creative IC opportunities that are relevant to the brief and to lead on the implementation of these initiatives working with the wider communications colleagues as needed.

•Direct internal communications experience in a comparable role.

 

•Ability to plan, implement and manage a communications strategy.

 

•Experience of working with senior stakeholders and directors.

 

•Proven writing and editing skills. Sound editorial judgement, having worked across multiple channels.

 

•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, other software packages desirable.

 

•Experience of working in a large, complex organisation.

•Help to shape the new IC plan.

 

•Work with the IC Network and others to identify the best creative IC opportunities to engage staff. Develop the proposals with benefits, costings and risks.

 

•Project manage various events and activities as required.

 

 

•Build a network of relationships / contacts across the division and the company who can assist in delivery of projects and campaigns.

 

•Develop the IC tools and templates required for divisional and pan company projects – briefing documents for events, emails, presentations and measurement.

 

•Ensure appropriate legal and contractual arrangements are in place when engaging any external suppliers.

 

•Comply with all relevant safety rules, procedures and guidelines. To be aware of responsibilities under the safety policy.

To support the engagement programme and advise and lead on divisional campaigns to support the divisions' overall communication strategies and objectives.
