Develops and implements an issues tracking process to ensure the timely and effective identification and
resolution of issues related to the implementation and meaningful use projects
Develops and implements a post‐implementation/execution evaluation process and incorporates feedback to existing implementation and meaningful use processes, procedures, and tools
Assists in the development of project plans, including schedules and budgets
Identifies needs and develops appropriate training programs for subcontractor’s HIT consultants
Measures variances from project plans and recommends corrective actions, as needed
Performs analyses on the provider market and maintains the provider database
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in business administration,
Must have at least five (5) years of experience managing complex IT or similar projects
Must hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute, an
equivalent certification, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and Excel, and MS Project or a comparable project
management software tool
Must be able to maintain cordial, professional relationships with staff, Hawaii HIE stakeholders, grant subrecipient
organizations, and the general public.
Must be willing to provide support in varied areas, as needed
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, information management,
healthcare informatics, or a related field
