SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE-IT Training Job Description

Training

 

 Develop a competency based approach to training in order to create a structured approach to workplace learning and a more skilled and knowledgeable workforce.

 

 To monitor, evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of the training delivered.

 

 Contribute to the setup, organisation and implementation of training programmes for Technology projects. Developing course notes, arranging courses and delivering training and subsequent training support.

 

 To set up, organise and implement training courses as necessary to support new and existing systems. This involves familiarisation with a system, developing course notes, arranging courses and delivering training and subsequent training support.

 

 Assist in the preparation, writing and presentation of project and training documentation.

 

 Assist in project management. This can include managing project deliverables, and assisting in developing documentation and presentations.

 

 Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

 

 May be required to assist with training issues identified by the IT Service Desk.

To support the delivery of training to support all technology Projects.

 

 To support the identification of general IT training needs and the development and management of training delivery to ensure staff meet the levels of competence and skills required to fulfil their roles.

 

 actively promote use of IT within the user community.

 

 Commit to continual education through formal training, informal skills transfer and self-tuition.

Job Description

 

Qualifications/Training

 

 Recognised training qualification e.g. City and Guilds 7307 or Institute of IT Training Certified Trainers Assessment Programme

 

Knowledge and Experience

 MS Office and MS Operating Systems experience.

 Fully IT Literate

 Detailed knowledge of patient administration systems such as RiO or ECAMIS.

 Excellent presentation skills to enable delivery of high quality training in both 1 to 1 and group training up to 12 users.

 

 

Communication

 Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

 Communicate with staff at various levels both admin and clinical.

 Excellent presentation skills to enable delivery of high quality training in both 1 to 1 and group training up to 12 users.

 Ability to adapt training sessions to suit the specific audience ensuring that effective and appropriate training is delivered at all times.

 

Information technology

 Good level of IT skills and experience of both patient systems and the Microsoft office environment to be able to provide expert product training.

 Responsible for adhering to data security of sensitive information..
