This role will provide outstanding strategic and operational leadership to develop, implement and evolve data-led insights capability, and encourage adoption advanced data analytics and data science best practice across the company.
•Provide leadership of the Data Insights function
•Recruit, and provide day-to-day line management for the Data Insights team , including setting out clear objectives, responsibilities & performance standards
•Manage the catalogue of data insights features, and identify and articulate the new capabilities required to deliver advanced data insights
•Act as business lead during procurements for data insights systems
•Lead the process of designing and developing data mining and analytics at the customer level to gain a better understanding of the customer
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
•Demonstrates passion for and deep knowledge of advanced data analytics as an experienced practitioner.
•A strategic thinker, able to articulate a vision and goals and able to generate, or catalyse in others, innovative ideas and approaches and to translate these into practical realities in the short, medium and long term.
•Operationally proficient with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver with clear results.
•Excellent written and verbal communication.

•Develop and refine predictive segmentation models for use in direct marketing activity and in digital products
•Develop and maintain business processes which allow the organisation to maximise the value of analytics features
•Provide analytical support in developing campaign test designs
•Monitor and report on effectiveness of segmentation models
•Work with Change team and wider teams to encourage adoption of advanced analytics insights within campaign process
•Lead and coordinate an integrated offering to senior stakeholders, partnering effectively with colleagues in marketing teams
•Manage the Data Insights budget
•Act as Contract Manager for relevant data insights sub-contracts
