To develop and improve the digital platforms (website, extranet and social media channels) and their content to support the effective delivery of the Communications and Engagement Strategy across its different internal and external audiences

To drive increased staff use of the extranet for administrative, management and communications functions to support planning and governance


To drive use of the extranet by member practices through supporting practices and developing the extranet in response to their feedback


To support and train staff practices in correct use of the extranet


Knowledge, Training and Experience


Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification in relevant subject


Knowledge and experience of digital communications and/or engagement in a professional context


Knowledge and experience of using content management systems


Experience of stakeholder communications and/or engagement


Experience of providing training/coaching/mentoring to others


Experience of project management


Communication skills


High level of written communications skills, including writing for digital platforms


Ability to pull together and edit content from different sources to produce coherent final content


High level of verbal communications and interpersonal skills










Experience of communicating with people at different levels within an organisation


Analytical Skills


Ability to analyse and interpret varied sources of data to provide meaningful information

To draft, schedule and publish social media posts and tweets on the organisation  channels


To produce options for change and facilitate improvements to the extranet and website with the suppliers
