Free Job description National Account Manager
Communication/Influencing - Communicate with internal departments to drive alignment between business and retail objectives
Negotiating a route to market, setting up terms and contracts with all key accounts
Negotiation of retail space, co-op marketing and stock commitment in line with agreed targets and the business plan
Work with customers to develop cross category opportunities & create events around key brands
Develop new and innovative opportunities to represent and differentiate our products
Develop New Business streams, not currently stocking our products
Provide support to the licensees in selling in our brands to UK retailers through sharing of information, brand updates and retail information
Create, develop, produce and monitor specific marketing plans with chosen retailers to deliver greatest value against our brands.
Build close relationships with the key licensees to ensure we are always aware of opportunities, challenges and success stories at retail.
Business Planning/Commercial Acumen - Development & execution of a business plan to achieve agreed sales and margin targets, securing commitment from key personnel across Consumer Products & at our retail customer
Negotiation – Negotiation of commercial terms and product support with retailers to achieve agreed sales and margin targets
Business Development - Identify and drive business development opportunities encompassing both new product ranges and new retail accounts
Sales - Presentation and sell in of new products and retail initiatives

Relationships
Developing relationships with external customers / retailers is key to this role as well as managing internal relationship with sourcing, design, supply chain and marketing departments
