To assist in the development, implementation, user support and management of information systems including online tools, mobile apps (IOS and Android), information sites and electronic information sources
To coordinate and assist with system updates and changes including acceptance testing, quality control and change management.
To support the maintenance and development of user guides, test scripts and results log, risk and issue logs and other related documentation.
To collate and analyse data and prepare documents for meetings, reports and publications.

To maintain systems related records regarding SLA’s Third Party contracts and subscriptions, including ensuring payment schedules and renewals are undertaken.

To comply with departmental and policies, procedures, guidelines and working practices in relation to technology standards and requirements including data protection and information security.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Experience of working with business information systems.
Experience of the coordination and development of systems and applications including understanding user engagement and user acceptance testing. To co-ordinate the team's system related project activities, such as producing regular Gantt charts and monitoring deadlines.
The ability to interrogate systems, analyse data and produce high standard reports.
A demonstrable aptitude for figures.
The ability to prioritise, use initiative and to work effectively under pressure without close supervision to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with a range of people and at all levels
An understanding of the importance of timely information and reporting without compromising quality.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
A flexible and pragmatic approach to supporting the wider operational environment
Experience of working in a project environment.
Experience of communicating technical processes in plain language that users can understand.
Good general knowledge of information technology and IT systems.
An understanding of Project Management principles, practices and co-ordination tools.
Experience of presenting to small groups.
Experience of web content management systems.
Understanding of safety or a willingness to learn.
Experience of establishing both office procedures and simple document control systems.

Specifically the role will:
Assist with the management, maintenance and development of Corporate Safety, Security and Resilience Information Systems.
Assist with the delivery and day to day implementation of new and developed components.
Assist in the creation and analysis of compliance reports.
Provide support to the Safety Advice Line with regard to systems queries.
To act as administrator of departmental databases and provide training and support to users.
To provide co-ordination and support for the implementation of the Information & Communication Technology policy and related process documents.
Provide office management support to the wider Safety team.
