To sell the benefits of advertising in company magazines, websites and associated products to a
range of business types - face to face and over the telephone to existing and potential clients.
To ensure that targets and standards are achieved & exceeded.
To sell advertising and sponsorship:
This role requires:
- solus visits to offices and businesses to sell products and or telephone sales (as specified with manager)
- preparation of sales documents
- the provision of consultancy to assist advertisers in achieving effective campaigns.,.
- strict deadlines to be adhered to.
- the use of negotiation and presentation skills.
Meet and exceed the company standards of performance which includes;
Achieve and exceed personal monthly revenue targets, for magazines and websites.
Full and pro active use of OBA & Sales Tools/other systems as required.
Demonstrate an excellent standard of customer service and communication at all times - with every effort to provide the customer with the best possible experience of our magazines and websites.
Achieve the agreed level of contact with existing accounts as required to maintain/increase levels of
Exceed agreed minimum page yields.
Achieve agreed levels of cold calling activity to increase volume/revenue streams.
Identify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits of product(s) to secure new business.
Accept responsibility for the monitoring of all competitive media relevant to your territory.
Demonstrate and report effective time management e.g. Admin not to be done in key sales period (10am – 4pm), planning your field
visits to ensure minimum travelling maximum sales time etc..
Consistent identification of new revenue generating opportunities to ensure that individual and company targets are achieved and exceeded.
Attendance at sales meetings/ training or coaching sessions as required.
Ensure all orders are supported by the relevant confirmation documentation
Resolve and feedback on all queries within max 48 hours.
