To code, test, and debug programs according to specifications; to modify, expand, and update applications; to develop software prototypes; and to communicate with a team in order to coordinate and document application development and testing.

Perform application development duties including coding, testing, and debugging programs; modifying and update applications; and developing software prototypes.

 

Test, implement, and support new operating systems and hardware.

 

Follow established application design standards, policies, and procedures.

 

Conduct meetings with customers and transform requirements into effective applications.

 

Follow established quality assurance and security procedures for business applications.

 

Perform application development/programming analysis duties.

 

Provide detailed design and specification documentation for all systems and databases.

 

Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of application architecture.

 

Install, research, test, and verify proper functioning of software updates.

 

Generate documentation for staff and training.

Follow established database standards and procedures.

 

 

Keep up-to-date on emerging application design and database architectures, technologies, and methodologies, and attend training classes as necessary.

Experience:

Two years of experience in the areas of application and software design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level N-tier architecture in a Microsoft .NET framework.

 

Training:

Equivalent to Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer related field.
