Assist and input in the creation of concepts and ideas for all campaigns and day-to-day promotions.

 

To mix both short form and long form content (when needed)

 

To have a sound knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the recording process.

 

Exceptional experience in the direction of voice over artists.

 

To ensure all projects and media are ‘backed up’ and that workflow is managed in a new tapeless environment.

 

To liaise with outside clients and staff members in the development of audio based creations and executions.

 

Must have an extensive awareness of current and past commercial music.

 

Must show a keen interest and demonstrate a keen desire to source and find new up and coming musical trends, bands and artists.

Experience in short form and long form post production (TVC or promos)

 

Experience in broadcast production and sound design environments.

 

Experience in playing one or more instruments.

 

Experience in working with high profile brands on air promotions and channel identities.

 

A thorough knowledge and understanding of pro tools is required

 

Ability to work as part of a creative team, contributing to the development of concepts and providing expertise to enhance the overall creative output

 

The ability to work autonomously as a fully effective and creative Sound Designer to deliver a technically correct and high end finished product as per the brief

Free Job description Sound Designer

Will be responsible for the day-to-day Sound Design and Mixing of on-air promos for transmission they will liaise with the Creative teams to develop the sound design on promotions.

The Broadcast Sound Designer will be responsible for ensuring all material is technically compliant and delivered as per transmission specification.  They will ensure common assets are readily available, easy to access and user-friendly in the way they’re set up and will provide consultancy support as required to the teams.

To operate the audio suite a fully effective Sound Designer and Producer.

 

To be proficient in the latest ProTools software and plugins.

 

To be able to use sound recording equipment to create unique sounds and effects

 

To provide a high level of service for the creative services department.

 

To mix audio, effects and voiceovers for promotions, reels and off air requests
