This Web Developer to be part of a redesign effort that will incorporate a CMS.

Main responsibilities-Web Developer Job Description-

Assists Director, Web Development and e-Communications with website development, design, and maintenance

 

Development of graphics and layouts based on knowledge of current web usability principles and esthetic design concepts

 

Experience handling technical aspect of the web, including hand-coding XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and an ability to use industry-standard software, including Adobe Create Suite

 

Familiarity with content management systems, Flash Action Scripts, databases, and object-oriented programming

 

Ability to effectively and efficiently create esthetically pleasing web content using ADA and Web Standards compliant web sites

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Web Developer Job Description-

Interest working within a Content Management Systems (CMS)

 

Work independently on assigned projects

 

Provides excellent customer service to all levels of users and encourage timeliness and accuracy of web page information and resolution of problems

 

Train other staff as appropriate
